Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the order dated 07.02.2024 issued by the respondents extending the tenure of the petitioner for a period of six months, the grievance of the petitioner stands satisfied insofar as the issue raised in the present petition is concerned. 2.

He further submits that the petitioner's wife is in an advanced stage of pregnancy, he will approach the respondents with a fresh application for deferring his posting till 31.12.2024. He, therefore, prays that the respondents be directed to consider his representation sympathetically. 3.

In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
