The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "In the circumstances stated above, it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may graciously be pleased to issue appropriate Writ, Order, directions to respondent No.1 through SHO of P.S. Sarita Vihar to protect the life and property of the petitioners, in the interest of justice.

Any other order or further order may also be passed which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in favour of the petitioners and against the respondents." Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner nos. 1 and 2 have solemnized their marriage on 12.01.2025 contrary to the wishes of the family of petitioner no. 1. It is submitted that the family members of petitioner no. 1 have been arrayed as respondent nos. 2 to 6. He submits that the petitioners are being threatened by the said respondents. 5.

Accordingly, a prayer is made to provide police protection to the petitioners.

In view of the above, issue notice. Learned ASC enters appearance and accepts notice.

Having regard to the nature of the relief sought, the present petition is disposed of without calling the status report, with the direction to the respondent no. 1 to share the mobile number of the Beat Constable of the concerned area with the petitioners. It is further directed that in the event any distress call is received from the petitioners, the same shall be attended to on urgent basis in accordance with law.
