The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs: "A. Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction in the nature of a writ setting aside/quashing the Impugned Rejection Order passed by the Respondent dated 17.11.2023;

B. Direct the Respondent to release the marriage assistance claim of the Petitioner with penal interest at 18% per annum C. Direct Respondent to review all the rejected claim applications filed by workers under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996 and disburse the claim amounts along with interest wherever the claims have been wrongly rejected due to erroneous application of Section 17 of the Act;

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent fairly conceded that in view of the judgment dated 22nd February, 2024 in W. P. (C) 2130/2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court, the competent authority shall reconsider the impugned order and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent may be directed to pass an order expeditiously in view of the judgment dated 22nd February, 2024 in W. P. (C) 2130/2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court which has been referred by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

It is further submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in view of the above statement made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, nothing is left for further adjudication in the instant matter and the instant petition may be disposed of.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 6.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation along with the copy of the judgment dated 22nd February, 2024 in W. P. (C) 2130/2024 passed by the Division Bench of this Court as well as the certified copy of this order before the competent authority within two weeks. After receiving the same, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the said representation/application keeping in view the observations made by the Division Bench of this Court in the judgment dated 22nd February, 2024 in W. P.
