The matter has been amicably settled between the parties by which the insurer has agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.7,50,000/- to the claimant over and above the amount awarded by the learned MACT. 2.

In terms of the settlement, learned counsel for the insurance company has placed on record a cheque bearing no. 003251 dated 09.02.2018 drawn on HDFC Bank, K.G. Marg, New Delhi in favour of the appellant. 50% of the settled amount shall be kept in FDR in nationalized bank for a period of three years and remaining 50 per cent of the amount shall be released to the claimant by the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee subject to verification.

In view of the settlement entered into between the parties, no further orders are required to be passed in this appeal. 4.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of.

Copy of the order be given dasti under the signature of the Court Master.
