This is an Application moved by the Respondent - University seeking extension of time to conclude the inquiry.

This Court, vide order dated 21.01.2026 had granted 6 weeks' time to conclude the inquiry, however, it has been stated by the learned Counsel representing the Respondent - University that the inquiry is taking some time. Though a prayer has been made at the Bar to extend the time by three months, however, we, in the facts and circumstances of the case, permit the Respondent - University to complete the inquiry within six weeks from today. The Application stands allowed in the aforesaid terms. 3.

We make it clear that no further time shall be available to the Respondent to conclude the inquiry and in case, the inquiry is not concluded within the period being extended today, consequences may follow.
