The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking direction to the Respondent to release the Petitioner on regular Parole for a period of eight weeks. 4.

been filed by the Petitioner seeking Parole for a period of two months, however, the same has not been decided till date. 7.
Learned Additional Standing Counsel on behalf of the State submits that the said Application of Parole of the Petitioner has been rejected by the Department of Home, GNCTD vide Order dated 26.12.2024. The copy of the Order dated 26.12.2024 has also been communicated to the Jail Superintendent-II, Central Jail, Tihar.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present Petition with liberty to file an appropriate Petition in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made, the present Petition is dismissed as withdrawn in view of the Order dated 26.12.2024 rejecting the Parole of the Petitioner, with liberty as prayed for.

A copy of the Order dated 26.12.2024 has been handed over in the Court today, be taken on record.
