The present petition challenges the order dated 18th September, 2024 passed by the Sentence Review Board ('SRB'), whereby the Petitioner's request for premature release was rejected.

Subsequently, upon fresh consideration by the SRB in its meeting held on 24th April, 2025, the Petitioner's case was recommended for premature release. The said recommendation was accepted by the Lieutenant Governor of NCT of Delhi, and accordingly, by order dated 8th May, 2025, the unexpired portion of the Petitioner's sentence was remitted. The Petitioner has since been released from custody. 3.

In view of the above developments, the relief sought in the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the petition, along with all pending application(s), is disposed of.
