O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking the following directions:- "(a) issue of an appropriate writ, order of directions directing the State Authorities to provide adequate police protection to the· life and limb of the petitioner, who is fighting the Delhi Assembly Election-2025 from Kalkaji Assembly Constituency, as sole transgender candidate, in the interest of justice;
(b) issue an appropriate writ, orders or direction directing the State Government to implement the guidelines passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in matter of N.A.L.S.A. Vs. UOI, 2014 AIR 2014 and as also to comply with the provisions of the Transgender Person (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019;
(c) pass any other order or orders which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.
This Court vide order dated 20.01.2025 while issuing notice directed the DCP concerned to make assessment of threat perception of the present petitioner and to file a report before the next date. A perusal of the status report shows that the local assessment of threat has been conducted and as per the local assessment, there is no immediate threat to the petitioner. A letter for assessment of threat perception to the petitioner was also sent to the Special Cell and as per the report of the Special Cell, threat to the petitioner has been found to be not genuine/not specific. It is further stated in the status report that the mobile numbers of the beat staff and the division officers have been provided to the petitioner and they have been directed to remain in constant touch with the petitioner and to regularly patrol the area near the residence of the petitioner. The relevant paras of the status report are reproduced as under:- "1.
That the Hon'ble Court has directed vide order dated 20.01.2025 in the present petition to make an assessment of threat perception of the petitioner and to file a report before the Next Date of Hearing.
2. That, as per the direction of Hon'ble Court, the local assessment of threat perception of the present petitioner has been conducted and as per the local assessment, there is no immediate threat to the petitioner.
3. That, further, a letter for assessment of threat perception to the petitioner has also been sent to Special Cell and as per the report of Special Cell, threat to the petitioner is not genuine/not specific.
4. That, the mobile numbers of the beat staff and division officers has been provided to the petitioner and they have been directed to remain in constant touch with the petitioner and to regularly patrol the area near the residence of the petitioner. Regular arrangements are also being deployed in the election related programs/ rallies of petitioner." 4.
In view of the above, no further orders are called for in the present petition and the same is disposed of accordingly. 5.

with a complaint in case there is a fresh apprehension. Needless to say that in case any such complaint is made, the same shall be considered on its own merits in accordance with law.
