The present application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) has been filed by the applicant seeking extension of the interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 26.03.2025 for a further period of 45 days on medical ground.

Mr. Narindra Bisht, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was granted interim bail vide order dated 26.03.2025 for a period of 30 days which is to expire on 28.04.2025. He submits that during this period, the applicant was admitted in Fortis Hospital, Noida on 29.03.2025 and was discharged on 08.04.2025. He submits that he is still under follow up treatment and is visiting the hospital for his medical treatment and on 19.04.2025, he has been advised daily Physiotherapy for his right upper and lower limb, due to stroke and associated weakness in the right leg. 4.
He submits that in these circumstances, the applicant needs round the clock care and continuous family support, thus, the interim bail be extended for a further period of 45 days. 5.
At the outset, Mr. Raghuinder Verma, learned APP, submits that he needs to verify the documents as attached with the present application and further submits that, however, the petitioner remained admitted in the hospital only for 11 days.

In view of the above, the medical documents be verified and status report be filed at least three days in advance of the next date of hearing.

List on 02.05.2025.

Till the next date of hearing, the interim bail granted vide order dated 26.03.2025 is extended on the same terms and conditions as contained in the order dated 26.03.20205.
