The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking regular bail in connection with FIR No. 1314/2014 under Sections 354-A/376D/506/509/34 of the IPC registered at P.S. Janak Puri. 4.

It is pointed out that the Chargesheet was filed without the petitioner's arrest. Subsequently, proceedings under Sections 82/83 of the CrPC had commenced for declaring the petitioner as a proclaimed offender. He was, thereafter, arrested on 11.03.2019 and has been in custody since then.

It is the petitioner's case that he was ill-advised as he was informed that the matter will get compromised.

Mr Mohit Mathur, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly states that the petitioner has been remiss and states that he is instructed to tender an unconditional apology for the same. 7.

In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. The petitioner would be released on bail on him furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹1,00,000/- and a cash surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. This is subject to the following further conditions: - i.

That the petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi;

ii.

The petitioner shall present himself before the learned Trial Court on all dates;

iii.

That the petitioner shall deposit costs amounting to ₹50,000/- with the Delhi Police Welfare Scheme, within a period of one week from today.

The application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 9.
