This is a petition under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration Act. The reference in this case was made to a Sole Arbitrator vide order dated 28th January, 2021 which was during the COVID period. 3.

The arbitration proceedings between the Petitioner and the Respondent titled MIS Gr Infraprojects Limited vs Score Information Technologies Limited arises out of a dispute in regard to contract for the work of "Trenching, Laying Installation, Testing of Optical Fiber Cable, PLB-Duct and accessories for construction of exclusive optical NLD backbone and optical access routes on turnkey basis for Defence Network for specified part of Package F totalling to 224 Km (approx.) in the State of West Bengal."

cross examination of the Petitioner is under way. In this view of the matter, the extension is granted till 31st December, 2024. Considering that this is a reference made in 2021, an endeavour shall be made to conclude as expeditiously as possible and no further extensions are sought. Ld. Arbitrator is requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments in the matter.
