1. The present joint petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time. The arbitration commenced on 04.05.2021. An application on 21.08.2023 was moved for extension of time as the mandate was expiring on 31.08.2023. The time was extended till 29.02.2024.

2. Learned counsel for the parties submits that now arguments have been completed and the learned Arbitral Tribunal has reserved the award for pronouncement.

3. It has been submitted that evidence led by the parties is voluminous in nature. The learned Arbitral Tribunal requires some time to finalize the award. It has further been submitted that the mandate may further be extended for two months.
