The status report dated 09.07.2024 has been placed on record. The said report indicates that the demolition of the property in question is planned for today.

Paragraph nos.2 to 5 of the status report reads as under:- "2. That, the present status report is being filed in furtherance of earlier reports filed by the answering respondent/ MCD.

3. That, answering respondent in the earlier tiled status report/ affidavit detailed out about the actions initiated/ taken by the department concerning the unauthorized construction at subject property. The contents of the same are not repeated herein for the sake of brevity.

That, pursuant to demolition/ sealing orders already stand passed, an action against this property was planned J-or 30.05.2024, but the same could not be materialized, as on the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. said date action was taken in respect of the property located between the properties bearing No. 850/22, Zakir Nagar and 244/22, Zakir Nagar involved in WP(C) No. 7368/2024 titled as "Suheb Vs Municipal Corporation of Delhi & Ors. " . However, it is pointed out that the subject property involved in the instant matter is presently lying sealed completely in terms of earlier actions as undertaken by the department.

5. That, further demolition/ sealing action against subject property has now been planned for 18.07.2024 and the same will be taken upon availability of police."

In view of the aforesaid, the Court does not deem it appropriate to keep this petition pending and accordingly, directs the respondentCorporation to take appropriate steps. 4.

If the petitioner still has any grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to take this matter before the concerned authority or to take remedy as per law.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of alongwith the pending application.
