Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present Petition, however, submits that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial considering that the Applicant was barely 18 years of age at the time of commission of the offence.

In view of the submissions made, Bail Application is permitted to be withdrawn. However, considering the young age of the Applicant, the learned Trial Court may make an endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within eight months.

The Bail Application stands disposed of along with the pending Application(s).
