% 29.01.2016 Mr. Amrit Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the police, on instructions from SI Mukesh Kumar, Police Station- Dwarka North states that in view of the circumstance that the petitioner is an elderly lady, adequate police protection shall be afforded to her. Mr. Singh further states that the Beat Constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf and telephone number of the SHO of the concerned Police Station as well as that of By:AMULYA
SI Mukesh Kumar shall be provided to her so that she can approach to them in the event of any threat or apprehension.
Ordered accordingly.
In view of the aforesaid, as well as the orders passed by this Court on 26.11.2015 in W.P. (C) No.8655/2007, Mr. Manoj Taneja, learned amicus curiae, on instructions from Ms. Sebastian, the petitioner who is present in person m Court today, seeks leave to withdraw these writ petitions at this stage. Leave granted.
