Having considered the averments made in the petition, we are of the view that the petition be disposed of at this stage by calling upon the petitioner to make a representation to the competent authority i.e., DG (BSF) for consideration on his posting in view of the treatment being taken by him for certain ailments. The petitioner shall also name three places as options where he can be posted. The representation shall be made within one week from today.

The competent authority shall consider the representation, keeping in view the ailment and treatment that is being taken by the petitioner and decide the same within six weeks as an outer limit. 4.
