By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal (AT) by a period of 6 months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 03.12.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent while taking objections to the averments made in the instant petition, he submits that he has no objection to the prayer made in the present petition.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the proceedings are at the stage of admission/denial of documents.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for passing of the award is extended by a period of 6 months w.e.f The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
