This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to Respondents No.1 and 2 to restore the electricity connection in respect of C.A. disconnection against the concerned officials. 2.

Learned counsel for Respondent No.2/TPDDL, on instructions, submits that a new electricity meter has been installed in the name of the landlady/Respondent No.3 on 11.03.2024 vide C.A. No.60032438008 and therefore, this writ petition is rendered infructuous. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner acknowledges the fact that a new electric meter has been installed and electricity is restored. 4.

In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition and the same is disposed of as infructuous. CONT.CAS(C) 263/2024 5.

As the order dated 01.02.2024 passed by this Court in the writ petition stands complied with, contempt proceedings are closed and Respondent is discharged.
