The petitioner, brother of the deceased-Ritu, wife of respondent No.2, daughter-in-law of respondents No.3 and 4 and sister-in-law of the respondent No.5 has preferred the present petition against the judgment dated 29.5.2018, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, convicting the respondent No.2 for the offence under Section 304-B IPC and awarding him Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of 10 years. As for respondents No.3 and 4, the trial court has convicted them for the offence under Section 498-A IPC and awarded Rigorous Imprisonment of two years each to them along with fine of Rs.25,000/- each. They have, however, been acquitted under Section 304-B IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner seeks enhancement of sentence in respect of the respondent No.2 in terms of ground (iii) taken in the grounds of appeal.
The petitioner also seeks enhancement of sentence in respect of the respondents No.3 and 4 under Section 304-B IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has noticed a typing error in the prayer clause and he may be permitted to amend the same as respondents No.2, 3 and 4 have been mentioned therein instead of the respondents No. 2 to 5.

Amended petition shall be filed within one week with an advance copy to the learned APP.
In the meantime, trial court record be requisitioned before the next date.
