% 18.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, Delhi on 28th October, 2014, therefore, FIR No.28/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Govind Puri on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Sunil Kumar P.S. Govind Puri. Respondent no.2 submits that the settlement has been arrived at with petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and admits having received entire settled amount. Respondent no.2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the

FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 submits that the petitioner no.1 had assured to repay the loan of father of respondent no.2 which has not yet been re-paid by him.

I have perused the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 before the Mediation Centre dated 28th October, 2014 and there is no reference of any loan extended by the father of respondent no.2 to petitioner no.1 nor there is any agreement with respect to repayment of any such loan.

It has further been pointed out that terms of settlement have been complied with, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 has withdrawn domestic violence case being CC No. 1661/3/2013. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, terms whereof have been complied with, in the interest of justice, FIR No.28/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Govind Puri and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
