The petitioners have approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking police protection in view of the threats made to their life and liberty by the family of petitioner No.1. 4.

Both the petitioners are adults. They got married on 20.12.2024, and a marriage certificate has ben issued by the Marriage Registration Officer, Ghaziabad, on the same date, i.e. 20.12.2024. Copy of the said documents are on record.

Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing counsel for the State, who appears on advance notice, submits that, if the address of the petitioners is provided to the concerned SHO, the contact number of the SHO, as well as of the beat constable will be provided to the petitioners, so that they may contact them in the event of any exigency. 6.

In view of the above, Mr. Rahul Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners, does not seek any further orders in the present writ petition. 7.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
