O R D E R

The present petition alleges wilful disobedience of the directions contained in the order dated 11.10.2007 passed in W.P.(C) 6657/1998. Apart from the fact that the petition suffers from inordinate delay and laches, it transpires during the course of hearing, that the respondent (Executive Magistrate, Tehsildar, Mehrauli) has passed a speaking order on 02.02.2023 qua the petitioner. It is therefore, contended that the directions contained in the order dated 11.10.2007 stands complied with. 2.

In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to continue with the present contempt proceedings. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.

Needless, to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the aforesaid speaking order or on any other account, he shall be at liberty to avail appropriate legal remedies under law.
