O R D E R

% 20.01.2017 Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 28th May, 2015. Petitioner nos.2 to 5 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sri Gopal PS Shakar Pur. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion. She submits that their marriage has already been dissolved by the decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 9th June, 2016 passed by Family Courts, Vishwas Nagar, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

Respondent no.2 admits having received the entire settled amount. She further submits that she has

no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between respondent no.2 and petitioner no.1 and that marriage between them has already been dissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent and the entire settled amount has been received, in the interest of justice, FIR No.2691/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Shakar Pur is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
