The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce Ms. Kiran before this Court.

Ms. Kiran has appeared in Court today. We have interacted with the girl, who is a major, aged about 25 years. She has stated that she wishes to continue to reside with her parents and does not want to go with the petitioner.

We have also interacted with the petitioner and have made him speak with the girl.

As the girl is a major and has decided not to go with the petitioner, no further orders can be passed in the present petition. 5.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
