The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the concerned police authorities to grant protection to the petitioner against respondent no.2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner got married to one Mr. Jaidev Singh on 28.12.2021, contrary to the wishes of her family. The said Mr. Jaidev Singh has joined through VC. 3.

Having regard to the limited prayer sought in the present petition, the same is taken up for disposal with the consent of the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the apprehension expressed and the prayer made, it is directed that the concerned SHO will share his own mobile number, as well as, the mobile number of the Beat Constables of the area with the petitioner. 7.

It is further directed that in the event any distress call is received from the petitioners, the same shall be attended to on an urgent basis in accordance with law.
