Issue notice. Mr. V. Balaji, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 and 2. Mr. Mohinder Rupal, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 3, and Mr. Anurag Dayal Mathur, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 4. 2.

The petitioner was appointed to the post of Lecturer (Physical Education) at Bhagini Nivedita College [respondent No. 4], which is affiliated to Delhi University [respondent No. 3]. She was promoted to the post of Assistant Professor on 17.02.2014 and Associate Professor on 21.01.2021. Her pay was fixed pursuant to promotion, by office orders dated 10.03.2014 and 26.07.2022 respectively. She seeks the relief of payment of arrears of pay, accruing to her upon promotion as aforesaid. 3.

It is undisputed that the present case is covered by four judgments of this Court, out of which several petitions deal with the respondent No. W.P.(C) 709/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 4-college itself. Copies of the judgments passed in Sh. Vikash Chaudhary v. Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. [W.P.(C) 14342/2024, decided on 22.10.2024], Dr. Uma Nijhawan v Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. [W.P.(C) 15442/2024, decided on 06.11.2024], Dr. Ansul Rao v. Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. and connected matters [W.P.(C) 15566/2024 & connected matters, decided on 08.11.2024] and Dr. Pushpa Yadav v. Lt. Governor of Delhi & Ors. [W.P.(C) 16687/2024, decided on 03.12.2024] have been annexed to the present writ petition. In all the aforesaid judgments, the Court has disposed of the writ petitions directing the respondents to ensure that the arrears of pay due to the petitioners, on account of their promotions, be released to them as expeditiously as possible, and not later than a period of eight weeks.

The operative directions contained in the judgment passed in Dr. Pushpa Yadav (supra.) is as follows:- "11. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed directing the Respondents to ensure that arrears of pay due to the Petitioner on account of her promotions are released to her as expeditiously as possible and not later than a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order by the College. It would be for the Respondents to put their house in order and make arrangements in the budgetary allocations/planned estimates so that the order passed by this Court is complied with in letter and spirit without any delay. The issue of payment of interest on delayed payments of arrears of pay is left open." 4.

The case of the present petitioner is admittedly identical to the case of the petitioner in Dr. Pushpa Yadav (supra.). 5.

The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of in terms of paragraph 11 of the judgment in Dr. Pushpa Yadav (supra.).
