% 09.01.2018 Parties are present in person. The matter was listed yesterday. The parents of petitioner no.1 were present. Parties had been sent for mediation so that the matter with regard to the apprehension (which the petitioner no.1 has qua her parents) could be settled. Parties have appeared before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. This Court has been informed that no settlement has been arrived at. The prayer in the present petition is that the father of the petitioner (arrayed as respondent no.5) should not interfere with the peaceful married life of the petitioners. Police protection has also

been sought for.

The petitioners are stated to be the residents of House No.13-B, Street No.6, Sai Baba Mandir, East Laxmi Market, Shakapur, Delhi. Learned counsel for the State submits that the address of the present petitioners as mentioned in the petitioner is of outside the State of Delhi and it may not be possible for the respondent to provide police protection if they are residents of outside the State of Delhi. The petitioners, however, have given the aforenoted address of Delhi. A beat constable of the local police be apprised of the situation and his mobile number be given to the petitioners in order that they can contact the beat constable in the case of need or emergency and he will provide police assistance to the petitioners. Petition disposed of in the above terms.
