The petitioner has filed the present application, inter alia, praying that the period of furlough granted to the petitioner, pursuant to the order dated 29.11.2019, be extended for a further period. 2.

The said application is unmerited. The period of furlough cannot be extended. The application is, accordingly, dismissed. However, this would not preclude the petitioner from applying for parole, if he is otherwise entitled to do so.
