This is a petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

As per the notice invoking arbitration, the petitioner had claimed a sum of Rs. 2,40,825/- along with interest as the amount in dispute. 3.

Mr Banati, learned counsel appearing for the respondents on instructions states that the respondents are ready and willing to make a combined payment of Rs. 2,50,000/- in full and final settlement of all the claims of the petitioner.
