The learned counsel for the respondent fairly submits that since the matter has been finally heard by the learned Appellate Court, he at this stage is not insisting on deposit of the 20% of the fine amount.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to keep present petition pending.

Since the learned Appellate Court has already heard the final arguments, it is directed that the final order be passed without insisting on the deposit of the 20% of the fine amount as directed under Section 148 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

No further orders are required to be passed at this stage. 5.

All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved. 6.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending application(s) is also disposed of.
