The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 07.10.2019 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal in OA No 3694/2017; and remand back the same.

On 02.03.2024, learned counsel for review petitioners submitted that a review petition has been filed in the case of Hari Ram and Others Vs. Union of India and Ors. in O.A. No.643/2015 decided on 23.08.2017, which has been upheld by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 8628/2018 vide order dated 20.03.2019.

Today, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent submitted that the batch petitions vide lead matter No. WP(C) 8408/2018 including the petition filed by Hari Ram which is W.P.(C) No. 8628/2018 has been decided vide order dated 09.02.2024.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that in view of the said order, the present petition has become infructuous. 5.
The petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous. The petitioners are directed to comply with said order dated 07.10.2019 within four weeks from today at the rate of 4% per annum, failing which respondent shall be entitled to pay interest at the rate of 7% per annum.
