% 05.01.2018 The petitioners before this Court are a couple who have married one another against the wishes of their parents. They are seeking police protection as they apprehend coercive action qua them. On 01.11.2017, respondent No.3 (father of petitioner No.1) came to the matrimonial home of petitioners and start abusing them with a threat to kill them. Present petition has accordingly been filed. On advance notice, learned counsel for respondents No. 1 & 2 has put in appearance. Learned counsel for respondents No. 1 & 2 assures this Court that adequate police protection shall be afforded to the petitioners and a beat constable of the concerned police station has in fact been informed of the situation; he will take care of it; the mobile phone number of the beat constable has been given to the counsel for the petitioner and in case of any emergency, the petitioners may contact the local police station who at the cost of

repetition will assure that adequate police protection is afforded to the petitioners.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.
