The present writ petition has been filed alleging that the property bearing No.27, Alipur Road, Civil Lines, Delhi-110054 is a residential property which is being used for commercial purposes by constructing shops in the said property.

A status report has been handed over on behalf of respondent no.1/MCD wherein it is stated that commercial activity is being carried out in seven (7) shops. Accordingly, notices dated 18th March, 2026 under W.P.(C) 829/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Section 345-A of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, have been issued to the owners/occupiers of the seven (7) shops namely: a) M/s Manglam Departmental Store (groceries Stationary and Cosmetics), b) M/s Manglam Departmental Store (Chemist), c) M/s Moets Restaurant, d) M/s Care Medicos, e) M/s Jain Paan House, f) M/s Olive Gym and g) M/s Sangam Unisex Salon.

The aforesaid status report is taken on record. 4.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.

Pending application stands disposed of.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owners/occupiers of the aforesaid shops shall remain protected.
