Heard the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, Sh. Punishk Handa, learned counsel representing the Special Task Force and Sh. This Court vide order dated 21.01.2026, had appointed Advocate Commissioners to execute the Court Commission for verifying the statement made on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to the effect that demolition action against the unauthorised constructions and other actions have already been taken in respect of the subject property. 3.

The Advocate Commissioners were appointed for the reason that the said statement made on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi was being contradicted by the learned senior counsel representing the petitioner. 4.

The Advocate Commissioners have submitted their report dated 05.02.2026. The STF has also filed a status report. The report filed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is also on record. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that on the basis of the aforesaid reports, the one filed by the Advocate Commissioners, others by STF and the third filed by the MCD, the petitioner is satisfied. 6.

In view of the aforesaid statement, nothing more is to be adjudicated in this public interest litigation petition, which stands disposed of along with pending applications.

We may, however, observe that if any further encroachment or illegal construction, etc. is found, the appropriate action which may be warranted under law shall be taken by the authorities.
