The present application under Section 484/485 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter 'BNSS') has been filed on behalf of the applicant seeking modification of order dated 21.01.2025 passed by this Court in the captioned criminal petition and to release the applicant on furnishing personal bond and cash surety of ₹10,000/- to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendent. 4.
It is stated that the petitioner herein is unable to arrange a surety. He states that vide order dated 25.09.2023, he was permitted to furnish cash surety of ₹10,000/- alongwith a personal bond in the like amount, by the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. competent authority. He further states that the petitioner has not misused the liberty granted to him.

After hearing submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and going through the order passed by this Court on 21.01.2025, this Court is inclined to allow the present application. The petitioner is permitted to furnish a cash surety of ₹ 10,000/- alongwith a personal bond in the like amount, as mentioned in order dated 21.01.2025.

It is clarified that the other conditions imposed on the petitioner will remain the same.
