% 12.12.2019 The IO of the case is present in court and has brought to notice of this Court that the petitioner has not disclosed the name of the person through whom he had procured the forged and fabricated mark sheet of B.A.
Buddhist Studies of the Thiruvalluvar University, Tamil Nadu to further secure admission in M.A. Buddhist Studies at the above named university. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the applicant, on 27.07.2019 had already given the name and address of the person from whom he procured the degree in question. On verification, it was found that no such person is residing, however, he was earlier residing at the given address. The phone number given by the petitioner was being used by a lady namely Krishne. Thus, the phone number is also wrong. In view of above, his custodial interrogation is required as petitioner acquired the degree from the above said University, to investigate if there is any syndicate who provides such types of degrees and plays with the career
of the students.
Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
