The present bail application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been filed on behalf of applicant seeking grant of extension of interim bail for a period of one month in FIR bearing No.292/2023 registered at P.S. Crime Branch, New Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 21/29 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 ('NDPS Act').

Earlier the interim bail was granted to the applicant vide order dated 30.12.2023 passed by learned ASJ on the ground that father of the applicant had expired. Extension of interim bail is sought before this Court on the ground that some rites and rituals are remaining in relation to his father's death. 6.

Considering the same, bail is extended by two weeks on the same terms and conditions as imposed vide order dated 30.12.2023. 7.
