The petitioner claims to have executed Will dated 05.06.2024 and General Power of Attorney dated 12.06.2024 in favour of certain third parties. She, thereafter, subjected Cancellation Deeds dated 24.07.2024 cancelling these documents. The petitioner has filed certain receipts issued by respondent no.2 with respect to the registration of the said cancellation deeds (Annexure 4&5).

The petitioner claims that respondent no.2, at the behest of the said third parties, has not been furnishing the said cancellation deeds to the petitioner despite repeated requests.

According to the petitioner, she is being compelled to re-apply for registration on the oral objection that the documents have been wrongly categorised in the application for registration as 'Cancellation of Mortgage The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. At the outset, it is seen that the grievance of the petitioner has not been agitated before the concerned Registrar under Section 68 of the Registration Act, 1908 ['Act']. Under the said provision, the Registrar has adequate power to superintend and control the sub-Registrars. 5.

In view thereof, instead of entertaining the instant petition, Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Registrar in accordance with provisions in Section 68 of the Act.

If the petitioner does so, let her grievance be looked into and appropriate steps be taken in accordance with law with due expedition. 7.

With the aforesaid observations, petition stands disposed of.
