% 10.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 were known to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No.

289/2013 under Sections 323/354/452/506/509/34 IPC at police station Badarpur, on the complaint of respondent no.2. With the intervention of their common friends, petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Agreement dated 9th December, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Soamya Kulhar of police station Badarpur. She

submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
