Application under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as 'CPC') has been filed on behalf of the Appellant for release of the amount deposited by the Appellant with the Registrar General.

It is submitted that the matter got amicably settled before the Mediation Centre on 30.01.2026 pursuant to which, Rs.4,50,000/- have already been paid to the Respondent, who has issued a Receipt dated 06.02.2026 acknowledging the Receipt of Rs.4,50,000/-. It is, therefore, submitted that the sum of Rs.2,50,000/- along with the interest, which had been deposited by the Appellant in terms of the Order of this Court, be permitted to be released to the Appellant.
