This petition has been placed before Court pursuant to a communication dated 15.01.2024, received from the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, seeking transfer of case titled 'State Vs. Mritunjay Roy, FIR No. 56/2022, PS EOW, under Sections 406/420/467/471/120B IPC' to Rouse Avenue Courts. The communication has been sent pursuant to an order dated 04.01.2024 passed by Ms. Nabeela Wali, learned CMM, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. 2.

filed by the prosecution intimating that Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 had been invoked against two of the accused and sanction had been received from the Competent Authority under Section 17A of the said Act. On account of this, the prosecution requested that since charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet had been filed, the same be transferred to Rouse Avenue Courts for further adjudication. Based on this order, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, directed that the parties appear before the learned Registrar General of this Court for necessary directions as the matter was required to be transferred to Rouse Avenue Courts. 3.
Keeping in view the order dated 04.01.2024, passed by the learned CMM, it is directed that the case titled 'State Vs. Mritunjay Roy, FIR No. 56/2022, PS EOW, under Sections 406/420/467/471/120B IPC' be transferred from the Court of learned CMM, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi and be placed before the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts, New Delhi, on 13.02.2024 at 2.00 p.m., for further proceedings, with advance intimation to the parties. 4.
Registry is directed to communicate this order to the concerned Courts.
