The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- 2.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/Election Commission of India on advance notice has drawn attention of the Court to the letter dated 19th September, 2025 sent by the Election Commission of India to the petitioner (Annex. randomly selected 8 individual affidavits filed by the Members of the Party, 7 could not be verified.

Accordingly, a communication has been sent by Election Commission of India to the CEO, Chennai, Tamil Nadu on 12th December, 2025, calling upon them to get a verification of all the individual affidavits submitted by the petitioner. This was followed by a reminder dated 14th January, 2026. 4.

Taking note of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/Election Commission of India to expeditiously decide the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law.

Pending applications also stand disposed of.
