O R D E R

This is a petition seeking extension of interim bail for 60 days in FIR No. 133/2018 u/s 302/307/120B/34 IPC and u/s 25/27 of the Arms Act registered at PS Narela.

The petitioner was granted interim bail on 24.12.2024 which was extended on 09.01.2025 up to 16.01.2025 to be available at the time of cataract surgery of the father.

Since the petitioner did not surrender in time, the petitioner was directed to first surrender vide order dated 22.01.2025. 4.

The factum of the petitioner having surrendered has duly been verified by the learned APP.

In the present case, the medical document shows that the surgery of the father of the petitioner is now fixed for 10.02.2025. For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is granted interim bail for a period of 16 days from the date of release of the petitioner to be available at the time of cataract surgery of his father with the following terms and conditions:

(a) The petitioner shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent; (b) The petitioner shall provide his mobile number to the concerned IO, which shall be kept in working condition and switched on at all times. The petitioner shall also provide his permanent residential address and in case of change of residential address or contact details, the petitioner shall promptly inform the same to the concerned IO as well as to the concerned Court; (c) The petitioner shall surrender after the expiry of interim bail; (d) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the concerned Court during the bail period and surrender his passport, if any, at the time of release before the Jail Superintendent;

(e) The petitioner shall not directly/indirectly try to get in touch with any prosecution witnesses or the family of the victim or tamper with the evidence.

The petition is disposed of.
