% 14.12.2024 The appellant claimant seeks enhancement of compensation over and above what has been granted by the learned Tribunal vide award dated 28.09.2015.
We have interacted with the learned counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, the parties have agreed that respondent No.3/Insurance Company shall pay enhanced compensation Rs. 5,75,000/- over and above the compensation granted by the learned Tribunal to the appellant. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent No.3/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs. 5,75,000/- before the concerned Tribunal within a period of five weeks from today, failing which the respondent No.3/Insurance Company shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a. for The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
