In the captioned writ petition, the petitioners seek a direction upon the respondent to carry out mutation of certain lands [Khasra No.143/686(0-06) and 81/24 min (1-16) situated in the revenue estate of Village Kanjhawala, Delhi] in their favour as per their share. 2.

The captioned application has been filed for disposal of the petition in terms of an order dated 27.11.2024 passed in W.P.(C) 16387/2024. By the said order, a similar writ petition was disposed of, with the direction that the respondent will take a decision on the application within three months.

Mr. Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners - applicant, submits that the present petition also be disposed of with a similar direction.

that in the counter affidavit, the respondent has stated that the land in question is part of Village Kanjhawala, Delhi, which has been declared as urbanised by a notification dated 16.05.2017 under Section 507 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957. As such, it is contended that the land has since been placed under the disposal of the Delhi Development Authority.

Mr. Kumar nonetheless submits that the respondent may dispose of his application in accordance with law. The respondent is directed to do so within a period of three months from today, following which the petitioners may take necessary steps within the appropriate authorities. 6.

The writ petition is disposed of with these directions. 7.

The next date of hearing, i.e. 11.09.2025, stands cancelled.
