This Court in a connected writ petition being W.P.(C) 3418/2025, has already quashed the appointment of the Ad hoc Committee constituted therein and is in the process of appointing retired High Court judge to conduct free and fair elections of the "Ski and Snowboard India". 2.

My attention has been drawn to an email dated 30.01.2026 at 09:53:15 PM addressed on behalf of the CEO of the Indian Olympic Association wherein while interpreting the judgment of this Court the adopted approach prima facie seems to be misleading and misquoting of the judgment.

For the said reasons, the petitioner is at liberty to initiate the contempt proceedings.

Granting the said liberty, the petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

Accordingly, the next date of hearing i.e. 13.04.2026 stands cancelled. CM APPL. 9870/2026 6.

This is an application filed under Section 151 of the CPC, 1908, on behalf of the petitioner seeking the amendment of the prayer clause of the writ petition in terms of the prayer stated in the application, which reads as under:- "a) Permit the Petitioner to amend the prayer clause of the writ petition and incorporate the following additional prayer: "To quash and set aside the subsequent actions undertaken by the Respondent authority in violation of the Judgment dated 30.01.2026, in so far as it directly impacts the Petitioner's right to participation in the Winter Olympic Games 2026, as upheld by this Hon'ble Court; or/ and"

ADDITIONAL/ALTERNATE PRAYER:

"In the alternative, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the Respondents to compensate the Petitioner adequately, by awarding cost of litigation and a minimum sum of ₹20,00,000 (Rupees Twenty Lakhs), for the irreparable loss of opportunity, financial hardship, and prejudice suffered due to their arbitrary and unlawful actions, so as to secure substantive justice and uphold the constitutional guarantee of fairness; or/and..."
