This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus for production of Ms. Manisha.

Ms. Manisha has appeared before us virtually. She submits that she does not wish to reside either with the petitioner or with her husband, and is presently living separately. She further stated that she is apprehending danger to her safety and, therefore, does not wish to disclose her whereabouts to the petitioner or to her in-laws. 3.
