This petition has been filed with the following prayers. "It is, therefore, humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may please to allow this writ petition and may further be please to:

1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the DG BSF to release disability pension consisting of service element and disability in favor of the Petitioner and arrears with@ 12% from the date of invalidation out i.e., 14.05.2024 IN THE LIGHT OF THE JUDGMENT DATED 06.11.2025

that the petitioner shall be satisfied, if the respondents by treating the petition as representation decide the same by considering the judgment of this Court in Kalu Ram v. Union of India & Ors., W.P.(C) 4350/2025. 4.

Noting the prayer made and the fact that the issue as raised by the petitioner has not been considered by the respondents, appropriate for us is to direct the respondents to consider the writ petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner for the claim of disability pension and by taking into consideration the judgment of this Court in Kalu Ram (supra) decide the same within a period of eight weeks from today 5.

It goes without saying that the respondents shall, while considering the representation, may also consider the opinion of the medical board dated 14.03.2024.
