The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.0538/2019 under Section 308/34 IPC, registered with PS Uttam Nagar.

Ms Chauhan, learned counsel appearing for the State states that the victim was injured and had remained in hospital for over nine days. She also states that the petitioner has not joined the investigation and is currently evading the process.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to consider the petitioner's prayer at this stage. 5.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
