The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the petitioner praying for quashing of FIR bearing No. 584/2023, registered at Police Station G.T.B Enclave, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 341/323 354A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 („IPC‟).

Brief facts of the case are that on 04.12.2023, responent no. 2 made a complaint stating therein that on 04.12.2023, when he was present at Gali No. 06 Friends Colony, Shahdara at the factory of Mr. Puneet and was in a process of lodging of goods on his tempo. Further, it was also alleged that when he had moved his tempo, one boy subsequently identified as Paras Luthra, the present petitioner herein and had asked the respondent no. 2 to remove his tempo on which, respondent no. 2 had informed that there is uneven place and if, he moves further his tempo would be damaged. It is also alleged in the said complaint that on this, petitioner had started abusing and had slept him.
It is also alleged that thereafter, petitioner had brought a danda and had hit on his head and when he tried to escape, he was stopped and requested to take legal action against the petitioner. On the basis of said complaint, the present FIR bearing no. 584/2023, was registered at Police Station G.T.B Enclave, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 341/323 354A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 („IPC‟) against the petitioner. It is stated that with the interventions of the common family friends, relatives and well-wishers, petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled all their disputes vide Compromise Deed dated 26.12.2023. 7.
On the query made by this Court, respondent no.2 who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that he has entered into compromise out of her own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by respondent no.2 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties vide Compromise Deed dated 26.12.2023 entered into between them. Respondent no. 2 further stated that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
he has no objection if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 9.
Accordingly, No. 584/2023, registered at Police Station G.T.B Enclave, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 341/323 354A of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 10.
The petition stands disposed of.
